Whether the activity is daycare, boarding, or training, we want your dog to feel safe and enjoy themselves. We have built our knowledgable team led by professional trainers with the goal of helping Austin dogs and their people have a happy home - and home away from home.
The Train My Dogs facility is located at 910 W Mary St in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood, just south of Barton Springs Rd.
MEET THE TRAINERS
HEAD TRAINER
Jeannette is personally and professionally committed to improving the lives of dogs and their relationships with their owners through positive and gentle training methods. Jeannette earned her training certification from Animal Behavior College in 2008 and is devoted to continued education through reading, attending conferences, listening to podcasts and following the careers of her favorite animal behaviorists and dog trainers. She loves helping growing families learn how to live safely and harmoniously with new children and/or dogs. Sharing her life with a shy dog, she has a special interest in helping other shy dogs blossom and overcome their fears.
SENIOR TRAINER
Heather is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed. CPDT-KAs have demonstrated their expertise in the field and are committed to continuing education as part of their certification requirements. She believes it's important to continually build on her knowledge and maintain independently assessed credentials to provide the best possible training solutions for the families she works with. Heather was shadowing mentors, studying animal behavior & learning theory, volunteering for rescues, and running her own training business in Phoenix, AZ before joining Train My Dogs in 2014.
